About

The campground at King Parrot is situated on the rainforest floor of the Pennyroyal Valley. King Parrot Cottages and Event Centre is located near the Great Ocean Road and Lorne in the Otway Ranges.

The family-friendly campground, surrounded by beautiful rainforest, provides the option of getting back to nature. There are two designated areas that include three very generous tent sites and three permanent cabin-tents. The cabin-tents are solid roofed structures with canvas walls, doors and windows each housing one double bed mattress and four bunks. Please note that they do not supply linen.

Aquila Creek runs alongside the campground for a tranquil setting. There is abundant wildlife and magical walks leaving from the campground through the rainforest to waterfalls and the national park.

There are two gravity-fed flushable toilets and two hot water showers in the main campground area. There is no power at all in the campground, including in the amenity block. The camp kitchen includes a communal barbecue and sinks to wash dishes.

Note: Accessible by 4WD and AWD vehicles only. Two-wheel drive vehicles will not be given access.

They limit the number of campers to a total of 20 to ensure plenty of room for everyone with large spacious sites.

Pets are permitted in the cottages.
